Piedmont Apartments are conveniently located near the Fontaine Research Park at 115 and 117 Mimosa Drive, less than a mile from Central Grounds and UVA Hospital. Each building offers seven (7) furnished one-bedroom apartments and sixteen (16) unfurnished two-bedroom apartments. All apartments contain a living room/dining area, kitchen, and full bath, with a bathtub and a tile or linoleum floor. Full balconies run the length of the building on both sides.

Piedmont Apartments are located within Albemarle County Public Schools, and are served by both University Transit Service and Charlottesville Area Transit.

Note: The University has announced the selection of three sites for a new affordable housing development initiative, one of which is where Piedmont housing is currently located. While this multi-year project is in its early stages, faculty/staff housing residents were required to move out by May 31, 2024, and graduate student residents will be required to move out by May 31, 2025.
