Fourteen of these cozy ranch-style homes are conveniently located in the Piedmont neighborhood near the Fontaine Research Park, less than a mile from Central Grounds and UVA Hospital. These single-story, unfurnished, air-conditioned homes offer three bedrooms, one and a half baths, a living room, kitchen/dining area, and full basements. There are hardwood floors throughout (except in the kitchen and baths), and mini-blinds on the windows. Appliances include a dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, washer, and dryer.

Piedmont Ranch-Style Houses are located within Albemarle County Public Schools, and are served by both University Transit Service and Charlottesville Area Transit.

Note: The University has announced the selection of three sites for a new affordable housing development initiative, one of which is where Piedmont housing is currently located.
